This Cookie Policy explains what cookies we use on tscpress.net, what each one does, and how you can manage them. It works alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They let the site remember things between page loads and visits, like whether you are logged in or what language you prefer.
Some cookies are set by the website you are visiting (first-party cookies). Others are set by services the site uses (third-party cookies). Some cookies last only for the length of your visit (session cookies). Others persist between visits (persistent cookies).
2. What cookies we use
We group the cookies on tscpress.net into three categories.
Essential cookies. These are required for the site to function. They handle things like signing you in to your Ghost membership account, processing newsletter signups, and remembering whether you have accepted the cookie banner. The site does not work properly without them. Examples include the Ghost session cookie, the signup cookie, and the members cookie.
Analytics cookies. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use the site, which pages they read, and where they come from. The data is aggregated and anonymized. We do not use it to build profiles of individual visitors. You can opt out (see Section 4).
Preference cookies. Future versions of the site may store your preferences, such as a theme choice or a language selection. We do not currently use preference cookies, but if and when we add them, we will update this page.
3. Third-party cookies
A small number of third-party services set cookies through our site.
Google Analytics 4 sets cookies to measure how the site is used. Google's own privacy and cookie policies apply to those cookies.
In Phase 2 (planned for June 2026), our payment processors Stripe and MMG+ will set cookies on the pages where you make a payment. Those cookies are required for fraud prevention and payment processing. They are set by the payment processor, not by TSCP.
We do not run third-party advertising on the site, and we do not set advertising cookies.
4. How to manage cookies
You can manage cookies in three ways.
Through our cookie banner. When you first land on the site, you will see a cookie banner that lets you accept analytics and preference cookies or reject them. Essential cookies are not optional, because the site does not work without them. You can change your choice at any time by clearing the site's cookies in your browser, which will make the banner reappear on your next visit.
Through your browser settings. All major browsers let you view, accept, block, or delete cookies. The exact steps differ by browser. Look in your browser's settings for "Privacy," "Cookies," or "Site data."
By opting out of Google Analytics. Google offers a browser opt-out add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout that prevents Google Analytics from collecting data from your visits across all sites that use it.
5. Updates to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add new tools to the site, change analytics providers, or modify how cookies are used. When we do, we update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, prompt you to review and confirm your cookie choices through the banner.
