Press Coverage Built In | Team Shaw Caribbean Press

Every book TSCP publishes gets seen by Caribbean media through La Caribeña News. Profiles, interviews, and launch coverage across 33 Caribbean and Latin America nations.

Every book we publish gets seen by Caribbean media.

Caribbean authors lose books not at the writing stage and not at the publishing stage. They lose them at launch, when the book hits the market and nothing happens. No coverage, no reviews, no signals to readers that a real thing has shipped. TSCP is the only Caribbean publisher with a sister newsroom built in. La Caribeña News covers Caribbean business, regulation, culture, and ideas across 33 Caribbean and Latin America nations. When TSCP publishes you, LCN runs the launch coverage. That coverage is not bought media. It is editorial, produced by working Caribbean journalists, on a publication that other Caribbean publications cite.

What LCN amplification means for your book

Three formats of coverage flow through the LCN integration, depending on which TSCP package an author publishes under.

The author profile. A long-form written feature on the author, the work, and the reason this particular book exists. The profile lives permanently on lacaribenanews.com. It is indexed by Google, cited by other Caribbean outlets, and serves as a reference any time a journalist or producer searches your name.

The author interview. A recorded conversation between the author and an LCN editor, published in audio or video format, transcribed, and released alongside the book launch. Interviews are syndicated to LCN's social channels and circulated through LCN's journalist network across the region.

The launch event coverage. For authors who hold a real launch event, in person or virtual, LCN dispatches editorial coverage. That coverage produces a published news item carrying the book's title, its themes, and its purchase links, distributed through LCN's full editorial channels and syndicated where partner outlets pick it up.

These pieces of coverage are amplifications of your book in the regional press. They are produced under LCN's editorial independence, which means the journalist running the story owns the angle. The point of the integration is that your book exists, on launch day, inside Caribbean media. Not after it. Not weeks later. On the day.

Which tier qualifies for which coverage

Digital Debut.
No LCN amplification included. You can purchase a single LCN press release placement as an add-on. Pricing on the Packages page.

Professional Launch.
Includes the author profile. Published on lacaribenanews.com, indexed by Google, evergreen.

Authority Standard.
Includes the author profile and the author interview. The interview is produced, recorded, edited, and syndicated by LCN's editorial team within 30 days of book launch.

Shaw Authority Package.
Includes the author profile, the author interview, the launch event coverage, and ongoing syndication. "Ongoing syndication" means that subsequent newsworthy moments related to your book, a new review, an industry reference, a speaking engagement, get folded into LCN's editorial coverage for twelve months after launch.

A working example

The first book published under TSCP is Letters to a Compliance Officer by founder Theon Alleyne, released April 5, 2026. LCN covered the launch from announcement through release week, running the profile, the interview, and editorial coverage of the launch itself. Within days, the book was being discussed by Caribbean compliance professionals across multiple jurisdictions. That arc is what every TSCP author at Tier 2 and above gets access to. The exact shape of the coverage varies by book. The presence of the coverage does not.

About La Caribeña News

Geographic reach

LCN currently reaches readers across the Caribbean and Latin America in 33 nations, including every CARICOM member state, every CARIFORUM member, and every Latin American country whose business press touches Caribbean affairs. A diaspora expansion is on the LCN roadmap for 2027, with planned coverage hubs in New York, Toronto, and London. For Caribbean authors targeting diaspora readers, the LCN integration positions your book where those readers already follow Caribbean news.

See the packages that include LCN amplification

The Professional Launch, Authority Standard, and Shaw Authority packages all include LCN coverage at increasing levels. Pricing is published on the Packages page. No discovery call required to see what each tier costs.

TSCP and La Caribeña News are sister organisations under EICCIO Advisors. Editorial decisions on LCN are made by LCN editors, not by TSCP. That separation is what makes the coverage real.
