Memoir, poetry, or nonfiction with the full pipeline.

Developmental edit, copy edit, proofread, professional cover, ebook and paperback, global distribution through Amazon and IngramSpark, and twenty-five author copies in the box on your doorstep. The price is GYD 350,000, or USD 1,750. This is the tier most of our serious first-time authors choose.

The price.

GYD 350,000. Or USD 1,750 for international authors.

Payment is split fifty-fifty. Fifty percent deposit begins production. The remaining fifty percent is due at the final-proof signature gate, the moment you approve the book for printing and distribution.

MMG+, bank transfer, and Stripe-processed card payments are accepted. International wire transfers are accepted on this tier and above.

Who this package is for.

Serious first-time authors writing in the seventy-thousand-word range. Memoirists with a story worth doing right. Novel-length nonfiction writers covering Caribbean history, business, or culture. Poets ready to publish a collection with print on hand for readings.

Professional Launch is the right tier when you want the book on the shelf at Amazon and at IngramSpark, both, with your name on the spine. It is the right tier when you want a real cover, not a stock template. It is the right tier when you plan to do readings, signings, and sales at events and you need paperbacks in your hands on launch day.

This package is not the right fit if your book is shorter than thirty thousand words and ebook-only is enough. Digital Debut is the better starting point. It is also not the right fit if you need hardcover-grade production or Caribbean media coverage on launch day. Authority Standard handles that.

What you get.

A developmental edit. Your editor reads the manuscript for structure, pacing, argument, and voice. You receive a revision letter and a marked-up draft. This is the deepest editorial intervention in the tier.

A copy edit. After your developmental revisions are in, a second editor goes line by line for grammar, clarity, consistency, and Caribbean English conventions.

A proofread. A third pass after layout, catching the things that always slip through.

A professional cover. Original design work to your manuscript, not a template. Two design directions presented, one chosen, refined to final.

Interior formatting for both ebook and paperback. Type set for readability and Caribbean publishing standards.

Distribution through Amazon Kindle, Amazon paperback (KDP Print), Apple Books, Kobo, and IngramSpark for global bookstore and library access. Books2Read universal link generated.

Twenty-five author copies of the paperback shipped to your delivery address.

Two rounds of revisions across the editorial passes.

Rigorous international best practices editorial review from our global team. Same-day review at every gate, four to eight hours per pass.

Timeline.

Ten to twelve weeks from signed contract to live book on every platform.

Weeks one through three. Developmental edit. You receive the revision letter and the marked-up manuscript. Your response is the editorial gate.

Weeks four and five. Copy edit. Tracked changes returned for your review.

Week six. Cover design. Two directions presented, one chosen.

Weeks seven and eight. Interior formatting and proofread. The book is laid out in its final pages.

Week nine. Final proof. You read the bound proof and sign the publication gate. The book goes live across Amazon, IngramSpark, Apple, and Kobo.

Weeks ten through twelve. Print run, shipping of your twenty-five author copies, buffer for platform approvals, and launch week.

How Professional Launch protects you.

Your name is on the ISBN. You are the publisher of record on Amazon, IngramSpark, Apple Books, and Kobo.

Your KDP, IngramSpark, Apple Books, and Kobo accounts are all in your name with your bank wiring. Royalties flow directly to your bank, never ours.

We do not take a percentage of your royalties. We are paid the one-time service fee on this page. The platforms pay you.

Nothing publishes without your signed approval at the editorial, design, and final-proof gates.

You can take the book and leave at any time. Your manuscript, your cover, your account access. Nothing is held against you.

Frequently asked questions about Professional Launch.

How is Professional Launch different from Digital Debut?

Professional Launch is the print-plus-ebook tier with a developmental edit, a copy edit, a proofread, original cover design, twenty-five paperback author copies, and IngramSpark distribution to bookstores and libraries worldwide. Digital Debut is ebook-only with a single editorial pass, a basic cover, and distribution to Amazon, Apple, and Kobo only. Both tiers register the ISBN in your name and pay royalties directly to your bank. If you need print on the shelf at launch and want the deeper editorial work, Professional Launch is the tier. If ebook-only is enough, Digital Debut at GYD 140,000 is the path.

What is the minimum manuscript word count for Professional Launch?

Around fifty thousand words. The tier is built around the production economics of a paperback in the 200-to-350-page range, which is the sweet spot for Amazon and IngramSpark print-on-demand. Shorter manuscripts can still publish here if you have a strong reason for the trim size, but most authors with shorter books are better served by Digital Debut. Longer manuscripts (above one hundred and twenty thousand words) carry a small surcharge to cover the additional editorial passes and the paperback print cost.

Do you do print runs in Guyana?

Yes, for specific use cases. Most Professional Launch authors are best served by print-on-demand through Amazon KDP Print and IngramSpark, which means a copy is printed every time a reader orders one, anywhere in the world, with no inventory cost to you. For local book launches and signings, we can arrange a short print run in Guyana through a vetted printer at your cost above the package. Your twenty-five author copies that come with the package are printed by IngramSpark and shipped to your address.

What does the developmental edit actually do?

A developmental edit is the deepest editorial intervention in the tier. Your editor reads the full manuscript and writes a revision letter that addresses structure, pacing, argument, voice, and audience fit. You also receive a marked-up draft with comments at the chapter and paragraph level. The output is a writing roadmap for your next revision, not a line-edit. After you respond, the manuscript moves to copy edit. Developmental editing is what separates a hybrid-published book from a self-published one.
