Monthly coaching, peer accountability, and editorial feedback.

The Subscription tier is for the writer who is not ready to commit to a package yet. You get a monthly group Zoom session, a private newsletter, access to our manuscript tools library, peer workshops, and a thirty-minute private check-in with us each month. Twenty-five thousand Guyana dollars a month, or one hundred twenty-five US dollars. Cancel anytime.

The price.

GYD 25,000 per month. Or USD 125 per month for international subscribers.

Billed monthly. Cancel anytime, no notice period, no exit fee, no questions asked at the door on the way out.

MMG+, bank standing order, and Stripe-processed card subscription are all accepted.

Who this subscription is for.

The aspiring writer who has been carrying a book idea for years and needs structure to finally do something with it. The writer who started a draft and stalled at fifteen thousand words. The writer who is preparing to apply to one of our packages but knows the manuscript is not quite ready yet and wants to build it out responsibly first.

This subscription is also for writers who scored below eighteen on the Manuscript Readiness Rubric. Eighteen is the threshold we use to decide whether a manuscript is ready for a full-package engagement. Below eighteen, the right move is coaching first, then move into a package when the readiness score has come up.

It is also for the author who has already published a book and wants a steady editorial relationship for the next one. The subscription is open-ended.

This subscription is not the right fit if you are ready to publish a finished manuscript today. Look at Digital Debut or Professional Launch instead. It is also not what an executive ghostwriting client needs. That is the Shaw Authority Package.

What you get each month.

One group Zoom session, one hour, with the full subscription cohort. The session covers a manuscript topic, includes peer workshop time, and ends with an open Q&A. Sessions are recorded so you can watch back if you miss the live time.

The Caribbean Author Letter, the private subscriber newsletter. Editorial advice, market notes, reading recommendations, and prompts. Written for subscribers, not for the public list.

Access to the manuscript tools library. Templates, frameworks, the Manuscript Readiness Rubric self-scoring sheet, the Caribbean Author Rights Checklist, and a growing collection of Caribbean publishing resources.

The peer workshop. Subscribers exchange chapter drafts for structured peer feedback inside a small group format. Two workshop slots per month per subscriber.

A thirty-minute private check-in with us, once a month. Your call. Your topic. We listen, we ask hard questions, we point you to the next move. The check-in is one-on-one and confidential.

How it works.

Sign up. Your first month begins at the next cohort start.

The monthly group Zoom session is on a recurring date at a time that works across Caribbean and diaspora time zones. We circulate the schedule in your welcome email.

The private newsletter arrives weekly during your subscription.

The peer workshop slots are booked through the subscriber portal. Two per month.

Your private thirty-minute check-in is scheduled through Calendly. Pick the slot that works.

If you decide to commit to a package later, your subscription pauses and the package engagement begins. You can resume the subscription after launch if you want continued coaching for the next book.

How the Subscription protects you.

You can cancel at any time. No notice period. No exit fee. The billing stops at the end of the current month.

We do not sell your contact details. The subscriber list is ours and our team's, full stop.

Your manuscript drafts shared in peer workshops are confidential to the cohort. A confidentiality understanding is part of joining.

We do not require an upgrade. You can stay on the subscription for as long as it serves you, and never sign a package contract if that is your choice.

The five author protections (ISBN, KDP, royalties, signature gates, exit clause) apply when and if you move into one of the four package tiers. The Subscription is the preparation, not the publication.

What our subscribers say.

Frequently asked questions about the Subscription.

Will the Subscription get my manuscript to a publishable readiness score?

That is what it is designed for. The Manuscript Readiness Rubric scores a manuscript across six dimensions and sets eighteen as the threshold for a full publishing package. Most writers who join the Subscription are scoring below eighteen at the start. The monthly coaching, the peer workshops, the private check-in, and the tools library are the things that move a score from twelve or fifteen up to eighteen and beyond. The pace depends on how much time you can put into the writing each month. Some subscribers cross eighteen in three months. Others take a year. There is no pressure to move into a package on a fixed schedule. For the full rubric breakdown, see our publish with us page.

What happens to my subscription if I do not move into a package?

Nothing changes. The Subscription is open-ended. Several writers stay on it for two or three years before they commit to a package, and several stay on it after a launch as the next book takes shape. You do not have to publish with us. You do not have to publish at all. If at any point you decide to take what you have learned and self-publish, or take the manuscript to another publisher, your tools, your drafts, and your relationships from the cohort are yours to keep. The Subscription is a relationship, not a funnel.

How do I get paid royalties when I publish a book?

When you move from the Subscription tier into one of the four package tiers, you set up your own Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, Apple Books, and Kobo accounts in your name with your bank wiring on file. The platforms deposit royalties directly to your bank on each platform's payment schedule, typically monthly for ebook sales and every sixty to ninety days for print. We never touch your royalty money. The bank statement comes straight from the platform.

Can my book be sold internationally?

Yes, every tier in our package range distributes globally. Digital Debut covers Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, and Kobo across all markets they serve. Professional Launch, Authority Standard, and Shaw Authority add IngramSpark for global paperback and library distribution in over thirty thousand retail and library accounts worldwide. The Subscription tier is the coaching tier and does not distribute books directly. When you move into a package, the international distribution is built in.

Available from June 8, 2026.

The Subscription tier opens with the Phase 2 launch on June 8, 2026. Until then, join the wait-list below and we will email you the moment subscription enrollment opens. Wait-list members receive priority access to the first cohort.

Wondering whether the Subscription is the right starting point?

If your manuscript is closer to finished and you are ready to publish, look at Digital Debut for ebook-first at GYD 140,000, Professional Launch for the full pipeline at GYD 350,000, Authority Standard for professional nonfiction at GYD 700,000, or the Shaw Authority Package for executive ghostwriting at GYD 1,500,000.

The Subscription is the place to begin if the manuscript is still in your head, on a shelf in pieces, or scored below eighteen on the readiness rubric. Move into a package later when you are ready.
